Naming a numeric sequence of files, can windows xp auto fill?
August 28, 2010, 10:13 amI work at a car dealer and part of my job is to photograph the cars and then upload them to the website. The software for the site we use requires that each picture have the stock number of the car (four digit number) and a number for the picture starting with 1 all the way up to however many pictures you take. Example of a picture name would be 7502--1.jpg, the next would then be 7502--2.jpg so on until all photos have been named. I take at least about 30 photos of each car and it gets a bit tedious to type in the file names over and over again. Is there a way to automate this process in XP,kind of like the auto fill feature in Excel? If it can't be done in XP is there any software that can do this? -
